Fellowship Program in Pediatric Critical Care

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bhubaneswar invites applications from eligible candidates into One-year Fellowship programs in –

Indian Diploma in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (IDPCCM) by Indian Academy of Pediatrics Intensive Care Chapter and College of Pediatric Critical Care– 2 seats

Minimum Qualification

Postgraduate degree in Pediatrics (MD/DNB) from a recognised University.

Details

  1. KIMS has a  20 bedded PICU with 4 full-time Pediatric Intensivists
  2. Facilities available – Mechanical Ventilation, NIV, HFOV, PD, HD, CRRT, Pediatric Surgery, Neurocritical care with bed side EEG and Neurosurgery round the clock.
  3. Accredited for IAP- PICC fellowship (IDPCCM).
  4. Subspecialty services available: Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric orthopaedic surgery, Pediatric haemato-oncology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric gastroenterology, Pediatric Allergy and Asthma specialist, Rheumatology.

Selection Process

  1. Online application in the prescribed format can be made in the email of the Principal KIMS ([email protected]) on or before 29th May 2024.
  2. An application fee of Rs. 1000-(Rupees one thousand only) has to be deposited in account section (A/C No-13462191000582, IFSC Code-PUNB0134610, Punjab National Bank, KIMS Branch) of KIMS. The receipt will be treated as admit card
  3. A written and viva test will be conducted on 30th May  at 10.00 am in the Department of Pediatrics, KIMS and the result will be intimated on the same day.

Program will commence from 1st July 2024. The selected candidates will take admission on or before 29th June 2024. Enrollment fees; Rs. 15,000 is to be deposited by the candidates after joining the fellowship program. Campus accommodation will be provided under applicable terms and conditions of the hospital.
