Post Graduate candidates possessing MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology/ Medicine/ Pulmonary Medicine
Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine for Academic Session2024-25
Selection process
• Online application need to be downloaded and filled in the prescribed format. Filled application form alonf with CV need to submitted in hard copy or mailed to HOD Critical care Medicine in the email [email protected] on or before 17th April 2024.
• An application fee of Rs. 100/-(Rupees one hundred only) and examination fees Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) has to be deposited in account section of KIMS. The receipt will be treated as admit card.
• A written test will be conducted on 09th May 2024 at 10.00 am in the Department of Critical Care Medicine, KIMS and the result will be intimated by mail by 16th may 2024.
• Entrance examination: MCQ based assessment conducted by the Dept. Of Critical Care Medicine. Question paper will consist of 50 MCQs covering all topics of Critical Care
• Program will commence from 1st June 2024. The selected candidates will take admission on or before 25 th May.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1. Application shall be submitted along with CV through the registered email address provided only. No application/ CV shall be accepted in any other form.
Examination-
1. Examination will be of 60 minutes duration and will start at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
2. Candidates are required to be present at the examination center 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination and to be seated 15 minutes before the time of examination.
3. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall 15 minutes after the seating time. Candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall only after completion of examination.
4. Candidates shall sign the attendance sheet when directed to do so by the Invigilators.
5. Candidates shall not be allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written matter or bits of paper or any other material inside the examination hall. Pagers, cellular phones, fitness bands and electronic gadgets of any kind are strictly prohibited in the examination hall and shall be treated as use of unfair means. Candidates are advised not to bring these in the Examination Hall as there is no provision for safe keeping.
6. Examination will be on MCQ basis (50) in English language only.
7. The MCQ will have “One Correct option”. There shall be no Negative Marking.
8. Subjects/Questions for the written test shall be from Critical Care Medicine. Questions regarding ethics, statistics etc may also asked.
9. Candidates shall observe strict silence during their paper. Any disturbance in the examination hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour and the defaulter candidate shall forfeit the right to continue in the examination hall. The decision of the Center Superintendent will be final.
10. Any kind of conversation will be taken as disqualification.
Diploma in Critical Care Medicine

Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care

Postgraduate degree in Pediatrics (MD/DNB) from a recognized University
Fellowship Programs in Pediatric Critical Care
Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bhubaneswar invites applications from eligible candidates into One-year Fellowship programs in: Indian Diploma in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (IDPCCM) by Indian Academy of Pediatrics Intensive Care Chapter and College of Pediatric Critical Care– 2 seats Minimum Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Pediatrics (MD/DNB) from a recognized University.
Selection Process
- Online application in the prescribed format can be made in the email of the Principal, KIMS ([email protected]) on or before 18th November
- An application fee of Rs. 1000/-(Rupees one thousand only) has to be deposited in account section (A/C No-13462191000582, IFSC Code-PUNB0134610, Punjab National Bank, KIMS Branch) of KIMS. The receipt will be treated as admit card
- A written and viva test will be conducted on 21st November at 10.00 am in the Department of Pediatrics, KIMS and the result will be intimated on the same
Program will commence from 1st January 2023. The selected candidates will take admission on or before 31st December 2022 after depositing admission fees of Rs. 60,000/-only in KIMS. Enrollment fees; Rs. 20,000 is to be deposited by the candidates after joining the fellowship program. Campus accommodation will be provided under applicable terms and conditions of the hospital.
