The Department of Anatomy at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS)is committed to academic excellence, integrating modern teaching methodologies with research-driven learning. Our Experienced faculty members employ innovative pedagogical approaches and actively participate in research projects funded by esteemed organizations such as ICMR, DST, and DBT. The department has the state-of-the-art Virtual Anatomy Dissection Table (Anatomage), enhancing anatomical learning through advanced visualization techniques.

Body Donation Center
Our Mission is to develop awareness of body donation in society. We aim to establish a center dedicated to body donation. This will promote societal awareness regarding body donation.
We actively encourage voluntary body pledge and donation for Medical Education and Research. Our team provides counseling and embalming services to ensure ethical cadaveric study.

Virtual Dissection Table:
The Anatomage table is a latest Educational tool for visualizing anatomy. It helps students better visualize anatomy and their relative location to one another student information recall increases with better understanding of contextual anatomy. Students become more engaged, increasing more interest in subject.
