The Department has 70 beds equipped with latest gadgets and well trained faculties. CT and MRI is available 24X7 for the benefit of patients. A dedicated neuro ICU is manned by neuro anesthesiologist.

The department has modern gadgets including faculties for thrombolysis theraphy. A separate stroke ward is also available.

The Department has advanced equipment. The Department was the first in Odisha to use Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) machine. The Dept has fully equipped cathlab and EP lab with bed side echo and dedicated cardiac ICU.

The department caters a robust Renal Transplantation program including Live , deceased and ABO incompatible transplantation with dedicated Kidney Transplant ICU. All the procedures like USG guided Dialysis temporary catheterisation , Renal Biopsy , USG Tunneled catheter, Percutaneus CAPD insertion under C-arm guidance is being done meticulously. The Department is well equiped with Thulium Laser and advanced urological instruments.All high end procedures of Endourology and LASER, Advanced Laparoscopic procedures in Female Urology, Uro-Oncology, Paediatric urology and Renal transplant procedures(Live&Cadaveric) are done with dedicated experts in urology.

The Department of Neonatology is equipped with advanced intensive care facilities for the management of extremely preterm infants and critically ill neonates and has been serving the state for the past 15 years. The department is led by senior neonatologists of national repute.Key features of this tertiary care center include i.e. fetal medicine,advanced perinatology practice, high-frequency ventilation, advanced incubator care, therapeutic hypothermia, bedside point-of-care sonological monitoring, neurophysiological monitoring, comprehensive neonatal surgical facilities ,ROP screening, hearing screening and neurodevelopment follow up high risk infants.

The department has got Nationally acclaimed faculties, 30 inpatient beds, dedicated Operation Theatres with 2 operating microscopes, skin graft Mesher, Microdrill & saw system apart from other advanced equipment. This department was formed in 2017 and has been growing expeditiously over the last decade. The department has got 4 experienced faculties, with 2 Senior eminent Professors having over 30 years experience in the field, garnering their knowledge and expertise from AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. The department operates a wide variety of cases including neonatal emergencies, Paediatric minimal access surgeries, Paediatric urological cases, Paediatric Hepatobiliary cases and Paediatric Surgical oncological cases. There is a dedicated Paediatric Surgery OT with state of the art facilities, advanced laparoscopic equipment and instruments for endourological procedures. The Outpatient department caters to a wide influx of patients. The 30 general ward in-patient beds is substantiated with an additional support and backup of surgical care beds in NICU and PICU- ensuring dedicated and tailored care for all patients. This centre offers a wide variety of cases, especially large numbers of Paediatric urological cases, and provides a complete exposure to a multitude of congenital anomalies and  general paediatric surgical conditions.
