Overview
The Pathology Department plays a quintessential role inproviding accurate diagnosis of various diseases by hematological, histopathological and cytologicaltests in patient samples. The department utilizes various advanced equipment such as immunofluorescence, frozen section, automated immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, liquid based cytology and automated hematology counters. The department makes crucial contributions in helping clinicians achieve target time reports with accurate diagnosis by incorporating clinical, radiological and biochemical inputs. Latest pathology department heralds incorporation of advanced automated technologies in a big way to handle large sample load while maintaining an appropriate turnaround time. The department encompasses a team of well-trained technical and medical staff who work with dedication to provide quality slides and diagnosis indispensable for the management of patients.
Mission
To provide round the clock state-of-art laboratory services for optimal patient care, achieve academic excellence and promote quality research.
Vision
To provide accurate reports in time for all patientsby optimal clinical cross talk for better management of patients and to provide world class training in pathology by latest educational methods while conducting and publishing high quality evidence based ethical research.
