We aim to deliver the best kidney treatment in Bhubaneswar with the most comprehensive care with round the clock quality services using state of the art facilities.

Importance of Kidney Health

The kidney acts as a filter system of the body and  is the major player in the regulation of your blood pressure, and the make-up of the blood. Maintaining many hormones that are vital to our very existence, the kidneys even produce hormones that tell bones when to make more blood cells.

Over time, poorly controlled diabetes can cause damage to blood vessel clusters in your kidneys that filter waste from your blood.  High blood pressure can cause further kidney damage by increasing the pressure in the delicate filtering system of the kidneys.

Many kidney diseases can be treated successfully. Careful control of diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure can help prevent kidney disease or keep it from getting worse. Kidney stones and urinary tract infections can usually be treated successfully. Sometimes, chronic kidney disease may progress to kidney failure, requiring dialysis or kidney transplantation. A great deal of research is being done to find more effective treatment for all conditions that can cause chronic kidney disease.

The kidneys are powerful chemical factories that perform the following functions:

  • remove waste products from the body

  • remove drugs from the body

  • balance the body’s fluids and electrolytes

  • release hormones that regulate blood pressure

  • produce an active form of vitamin D that promotes strong, healthy bones

  • control the production of red blood cells

We provide both inpatient and outpatient care to kidney patients supported by ICU and ultra modern labs associated with complete biochemistry and histopathology.  We manage 60+ IPD patients, OPD services and also emergency cases in ICU, MICU, CICU, PICU, CTICU and Casualty. We follow a coordinated patient centric multidisciplinary approach that starts with diagnosis and management considering all aspects such as availability , convenience, underlying medical problems and age.
